Ganton Beltaine is an outstanding horse with a beautiful head, expressive paces and a huge careful loose jump. He has a fantastic temperament, a very kind eye and excellent bloodlines linking him to some of the top racehorses of all time. His pedigree has been carefully chosen since 1939 to produce an outstanding performance sire for racing, high class eventing or showjumping. He was placed 3rd and 4th in the Scottish Loose Jumping Young Horse Series, where he scored eights for conformation and movement and eights for technique and scope by both judges at each qualifier. He is jumping consistent double clears, and is working at elementary level Dressage. He is out of the same Mare as Grade A showjumper and Graded Sports Horse stallion Ganton Rufus, and full brother to Intermediate Eventer Rubric 50 points BE 2007 competing at CCI * level. Progeny includes Arctic Prince of Beltaine Reserve Champion Foal at North of England Show 2003, overall Champion Youngstock 2006 and consistently winning in hand. Sire of potential show hack stallion Prince of Belair. Whistling Sands Night Fever and Whistling Sands The Man 4 shows 3 Firsts, 1 Championship and a WPCS Medal. Beltainesrio 2nd -Competition Horse Show 2007,3rd Otley Agricultural Show 2007. Beltaine produces quality foals with exceptional temperaments and exquisite heads, he adds quality and length of leg to heavier types of mares. He is very experienced with his mares and a perfect gentleman. He shows a classic technique over a very big fence, the type you would only normally find in a warmblood, and can gallop across country with the best of them,. He carries a predominant bay gene and has never thrown chestnut. He has produced several beautifully marked coloured foals to coloured mares.

A riders view "An Immensely talented horse with a fabulous attitude and a huge scopey jump. A definite top competition prospect for the future. This horse has real class." - Alan Birch 2005.

All full thoroughbred Mares with GSB passports progeny from Ganton Beltaine will be eligible for full GSB Weatherby’s passports and will therefore be accepted to race under rules and be accepted into the general stud book.  He was given an NTR passport from 7 generations back in his pedigree, there was a discrepancy and although the named horse was found to be full thoroughbred, due to the war was given an NTR passport.
