He was placed 3rd and 4th in the Scottish Loose Jumping Young Horse

Agricultural Show 2007. Beltaine produces quality foals with exceptional temperaments and exquisite heads, he adds quality and length of leg to heavier types of mares. He is very experienced with his mares and a perfect gentleman. He shows a classic technique over a very big fence, the type you would only normally find in a warmblood, and can gallop across country with the best of them,. He carries a predominant bay gene and has never thrown chestnut. He has produced several beautifully marked coloured foals to coloured mares.
A riders view "An Immensely talented horse with a fabulous attitude and a huge scopey jump. A
definite top competition prospect for the future. This horse has real class." - Alan Birch 2005.
All full thoroughbred Mares with GSB passports progeny from Ganton Beltaine will be eligible for full GSB Weatherby’s passports and will therefore be accepted to race under rules and be accepted into the general stud book.
He was given an NTR passport from 7 generations back in his pedigree, there was
a discrepancy and although the named horse was found to be full thoroughbred,
due to the war was given an NTR passport.
