Siren's Missile

A superbly bred National Hunt Thoroughbred with a wealth of top class thoroughbred breeding in his pedigree. Syman is an attractive elegant horse, short coupled, deep chested, with a fabulous length of rein. He has a noble head with a very kind eye, excellent conformation, temperament and above all very good feet. He does not carry the chestnut gene and will therefore never throw chestnut. This impressive young stallion takes very much after his sire with extravagant straight moving paces and natural elevation. He has been brought to the fore after the loss of his sire who, was highly thought of by the Eventing, Showing and Showjumping fraternity. He shows a calm, classic technique over a fence and loose jumps 1m 30 for fun, whilst proving to be a calm and sensible ride for his young rider Sarah Moorhouse who has produced and ridden him in his dressage and sports horse classes. A super genuine young horse with an unflappable temperament he hacks out alone or in company is very bold and brave x-country, water, ditches etc the perfect gentleman at all times.

In 2008 we aimed to produce him for the Young Event Horse Finals but after winning at Championship level as a show horse we decided not to risk injury and put the eventing career on hold for the time being. He rewarded us by winning all his stallion classes he entered. His long-term career plans were to be produced for a career in Eventing, Dressage and Show jumping. He was happily working at elementary dressage with established lateral work and changes and jumping double clears at 1.10m. Sadly at the end of 2010 as best plans can always go wrong he injured himself in a freak accident in the paddock and though still sound on vets advice we have decided to retire him to stud due to a large amount of scar tissue on the underside of his abdomen.

We consider him to be a great prospect to breed shows horses, Hacks, Intermediates, Eventers, Showjumpers and Point to Pointers. He is also a good sire for ponies as like his father he has the ability to produce working hunter and competition ponies for all disciplines. He offers an excellent Opportunity to breed top class Welsh Part Breds and Anglo Arabs, for the many showing classes that are now available at top class level, including the Cherif Championships. He was licensed with The National Pony Society to enable his youngstock to be eligible for NPS registration.

He is calm and quiet with his mares, the perfect gentleman at all times. His young stock have all inherited his superb temperament, are full of quality and athleticism and have the makings to be top class stars of the competition and showing world of the future. One of the first progeny results is from. Kerranen Bryn 2nd Part Bred Welsh Foal (Medal show) Best of British Champions of the Future, 2nd Small Riding Horse British National Foal Show. He has been used extensively in advertising campaigns for Bailey’s Horse Feeds, The Every Day High Fibre range and Lo – Cal Balancer. He also features in The Matchmakers International advertisements wearing Masta & Caldene rugs.
