A superbly bred National Hunt Thoroughbred. An elegant horse who is short coupled, deep chested, with a good length of rein. He has a noble head with a very kind eye, excellent attitude and temperament and above all very good feet and excellent conformation. He is the perfect young sire to inject quality as well as giving thoroughbreds more substance and a sensible attitude. He does not carry the chestnut gene and therefore will never throw chestnut. Syman is a quality young colt who has taken very much after his sire Honeybrook Siren with straight moving extravagant paces and natural elevation. He has been brought to the fore after the loss of his sire who was highly thought of by the Eventing, Showing and Showjumping fraternity. He loose jumps and shows a calm, classic technique over a fence. In 2008 he will be produced by Andrea Morris with the Burghley Young Event Horse and PAVO British Eventing Finals in mind. We consider him to be an excellent prospect to breed show horses, Hacks, Intermediates etc. Eventers, Showjumpers and Point to Pointers. He is also a superb sire for Ponies as like his father he has the ability to produce WHP's and competition Ponies for all disciplines. An excellent opportunity to breed top class Welsh Part Breds and Anglo Arabs, for the many showing classes that are now available at top class level, including the Cherif Championships. He was broken Autumn 2007 proving to be a calm and sensible ride with an unflappable temperament, he has hacked out alone and in company. He has schooled across country, he is bold and brave and jumps straight into water. He is working nicely on the flat. He has started covering naturally and he is calm and quiet with his mares, the perfect gentleman. He is also being collected from and his semen checked 24 hours after chilling and has proved to have excellent motility. Competition results:
Honeybrook Siren had exceptional racing bloodlines and was classed as a 'dual' sire (able to produce flat and jump racehorses) but was produced as a competition stallion, successfully shown in hand as a youngster, went on to compete at Dressage, Showjumping and hunted with the Maynell. For 2 seasons he has been sadly missed as a sire, but now through Siren's Missile mare owners are able to utilize his successful bloodlines.
